About Leslieville

Leslieville is a once-industrial district east of the Don River, dubbed "the new Queen West" two decades ago and now a house-heavy neighbourhood of late-1800s Victorian and Second Empire semis and row houses, with larger detached lots toward Riverdale and a strong loft and live-work stock. Its identity is built on Queen Street East’s indie boutiques, cafés and destination restaurants, where creatives and young families coexist in a genuine village feel. For investors it is a scarce-freehold land play on a transit-improving corridor, the Ontario Line (tunnelling in 2026) adds a dedicated Leslieville station plus the nearby East Harbour hub, set against the foreign-buyer ban (to Jan 1, 2027), the 35% combined surcharge and the 2026 reset.
